Holiday Planning and Booking

We undertake research to understand how people plan and book their holidays. Topics of interest include how people use different media types and the information they look for when and how.

Consumer Research - Scotland Visitor Survey 2015 & 2016

Overnight visitors to Scotland were asked about various aspects of planning and booking their trip to Scotland. To view the results, please see the Scotland Visitor Survey within the Visitor Research section.

Consumer Research - Offers

In 2012, we worked with research agency, Boxclever, to explore UK consumer behaviour, focusing on holiday purchasing behaviour and the role of offers and discounts. Available to download is a topic paper which highlights the key results from this research.
